Application: Mica tapes are a perfect solution for all refractory wires and cables. High-powered enterprises are recommended to use mica tape on the one side in order to reduce expenses for cable manufacture. Mica tapes with a double-sided film or glass fiber base are suitable for equipment with high requirements for high breaking strength rupture limit. In order to provide refractoriness the tape shall be packed up with a minimum 50 % overlapping

Mica tape MAF-H for refractory wire and cables is a web electric insulating and thermal insulating material consisting of new mica paper based on non-alkalic glass fiber or polyethylene film impregnated with heat-resistant silicone resin.
Mica tape MAF-H is a high-efficiency and refractory mica tape made according to the special technology; its stability, flexibility and heat resistance are substantially improved as compared with the conventional one. In addition, the problem of flying mica flakes and viscidity while its wrapping has also been corrected.

Synthetic mica tape MAF-S for refractory wire and cables is a web electric insulating and thermal insulating material consisting of high-quality mica paper based on non-alkalic glass fiber or polyethylene film impregnated with heat-resistant silicone resin.
Muscovite mica tape

The tape made of calcined muscovite mica MAF-CM for refractory wire and cables is a web electrical insulating and thermal insulating material consisting of high-quality calcined mica paper based on a non-alkaline glass fiber impregnated with a heat-resistant silicone resin. Due to the special manufacturing technique the calcined mica tape MAF-CM is a perfect solution for all types of refractory wire and cables.
Heating of the selected raw mica at high temperatures increases the stability of the mica tape, as the impurities negatively affecting on its dielectric strength and heat-resistance are removed in this process. The content of silicone resin in mica tape MAF-CM is 50% more that in conventional one. Conducting protective layer, silicone resin and mica layer processed at high temperatures improves tape heat-resistant properties. Mica tape MAF-CM is the best solution for the wire and cables of small diameter, by virtue of its excellent adhesive properties and flexibility.
